Well, it’s been ages since I last did a journal entry. So much to say, so much I’ve been collecting to say, but then forgetting.

Well, here’s a little list of things that’ve changed since the last entry:
Failed my driving test – four times, but finally passed on the fifth time around.
Joined AVB (Alder Valley Brass) which means I’m now playing in 4 bands, and I get to play three different tubas a week… (a fourth hides in the loft, and rarely ever comes out). You can never have too many tubas.
Sent off my UCAS form, now I just have to wait for some offers…
drawn a bit, doodled a lot, made a lot of plans for drawings, started many, finished few. Hopefully you’ll be seeing otters, meerkats, cars, various game fanart, a Christmas card design, and some more over the next couple of months.
also started another project, but that won’t be properly announced until it’s a little further underway.

Sorry for the lack of serious pencil art uploaded lately – my music and education seem to be taking hold for now. I’d like to get a lot done over the Christmas holidays, but I fear that revision needs, (and general laziness ) will get in the way of that.
I know there’s a lot of people out there I owe drawings, and believe me, you haven’t been forgotten (even if you don’t know I feel I owe you something ). One day I’ll get round to it… one day.

Hi there. Name’s Alanna, nickname? Well I’ve been called a lot of things over the years, mostly revolving around the words ‘sniper’ and ‘kitty’ though

2. …Okay. How old are you right now?
Ah, now that’s an interesting question, and it really depends on your perspective. And I’m not talking special relativity here – when half your family live in a time bubble which you can leave for what you think is nearly 300 years and return to find them only a few months older, it’s very hard to judge time!

3. Wow, precise. What’s your favorite food?
food… generally anything edible. Meat’s good though. Meat pie extra good.

4.And your favorite drink?
milk

5. Your crush/lover?
hehehehe, let’s just say he’s a sniper like me, with a lion-like tail. Anymore might give away too much plot

6. Oh. Have you two kissed yet?
Married for a couple of hundred years, and with two kids? Yeah, I’d say we’ve done that a few times.

7. Classic question! What's your favorite color?
Can’t you tell from the clothes choice? Green!

8. Who's your favorite author?
Almost anybody who can write something that’ll keep me interested for an hour or two. Doesn’t have to be fiction either.

9. Now what's your biggest fear?
I know it’s a bit cliché, but I couldn’t bear to loose my newfound family. I lost my old kin when the planet was taken, and I’m NOT going through that again.

10. Any siblings?
Not anymore.

11. Who's your hero?
Hero? I haven’t room for heroes. I do the best I can, and admire others for doing the best they can… whilst trying to do better than them

12. Okay, who is your worst enemy?
I don’t believe in grading enemies – after all, if you have a ‘worst’ enemy, doesn’t it follow that you should also have ‘best’ enemy? Now that just seems odd. Those trying to kill me now get killed, those trying to kill my family get killed when I catch up with them.

13. What would you do if your hero and your worst enemy got together?
See above - it’s not gonna happen.

14. …Okay… what would you do if you met your creator?
My creator? Well I’ve already met the bunch who created the part of my that needed replacing after the crash… I was blacked out for most of it, but I’m pretty sure I was lucid enough during some part of it to remember the strange black ‘liquid’ and some sort of robotic tentacle arms. I think I groaned a bit and then they knocked me out for the rest of the process. That count?

15. Okay, I'll contact them right now. Done! Now, what do you want to be when you grow up?
Grow up? Hah. That’s hardly likely, I haven’t grown much in the last hundred or so years, not much chance of that changing anytime soon. Once a shorty, always a shorty. But don’t you repeat that to my face.

16. O.o okay. What's your worst nightmare?
My memories of the takeover still haunt me enough. That those monstrous black tentacles will drop down from the sky, and suck the life out of all I hold dear is probably the worst nightmare for anybody. Worse for me because I’ve seen what they can do.


17. What's your lifelong dream?
To find any of my friends or family who might have escaped like me. Although that’s a goal that will probably hurt me more than anything – there’s no way they can have gone through anything like what I did and remain the same people I hold in my memory.

18. What would you do if your lifelong dream came true?
See above. I’d love to find somebody who still lives, but at the same time, I’m scared of who they might have become.

19. Ok, where's your favorite place to relax?
Somewhere high. Mountains are nice, so are trees.

20. Last question! What do you spend most of your time doing?
sleeping… I wish. I train a lot, and my job takes up much of the time. Otherwise I spend time with the boys and all my new friends and family.
